EuroShop RetailDesign Award
Since 2008, the EuroShop RetailDesign Award has been presented to the best store concepts worldwide for the perfect mix of architecture, colours, materials, lighting and visual merchandising. In 2026, the award will be presented in five categories: Food, Fashion & Lifestyle, Digital, Hospitality and Sustainability. The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 24 February 2026, starting at 5:30 p.m. in Hall 9 on the Amber Stage.
The official stand design competition at EuroShop, the EuroShop Awards presented by the renowned EXHIBITOR Magazine from the USA, honours the most impressive stands at the trade fair. All exhibitors at EuroShop 2026 automatically participate in the award free of charge. The stands are awarded in five categories, depending on their size. There are 10 finalists in each category, which are selected by an international panel of design experts. The award ceremony will take place on Wednesday, 25 February 2026.
The Retail Technology Awards – also known as reta – are now in their 19th year. Once again, the focus is on retail companies that are being recognised for their outstanding technology projects. Three equal winners will be selected in six categories: Checkout & Smart Store, Employee Empowerment, Artificial Intelligence, Supply Chain Excellence, Customer Experience and MarTec Innovation. The award ceremony will take place on 23 February 2026.
With the Science Award, the EHI Foundation and GS1 Germany will once again honour young academics and start-ups for their excellent work and projects in 2026. The Science Award, worth a total of €65,000, will be presented in three categories: master's thesis, dissertation and start-up. In the latter category, prizes worth €50,000 in kind will be awarded. The EHI and GS1 Germany will support the start-up for one year with a comprehensive programme of various networking, coaching, communication and marketing activities. The award ceremony will take place on 24 February 2026
